Government of India , Ministry of home affairs Sashastra seema Bal has recently released the notification for recruitment of paramedical cadre 2012 and is inviting applications from the eligible candidates both male and female ,of Indian citizens for filling up the following vacancies of Group-B & C Non-Gazetted (Combatised), Para Medical Staff in Sashastra Seema Bal.
Number of posts: 158 posts of which for the post Staff Nurse and CT (Ayah) only females can apply and for the post of CT (Table Boy) only male can apply. For all other posts both male and female can apply. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.
Eligibility Conditions:
Age as on 31-08-2012:
- For the post of Staff Nurse: 21 to 30 years
- For the post of ASI Radiographer/Operation theatre technician/ Dental Technician : 20 to 30 years
- For the post of HC steward : 18 to 25 years
- For the post of Constable Lab assistant/ Ayah/ Masalchi/Table boy : 18 to 25 years
Educational qualifications and Experience:
For the post of Staff Nurse: Should have passed 10+2 with science or equivalent from recognized University and Should have 3 years Diploma in General Nursing from recognized Institute of state or Central Government. Must be registered with Central or State Nursing council.
- Experience: 2 years experience in a recognized Hospital.
For the post of ASI pharmacist: Should have passed 10+2 with science or equivalent from recognized University, should have diploma or Degree in pharmacy from recognized university or institute of India and should be registered as a pharmacist under pharmacy act .
For the post of ASI Radiographer: Should have passed 10+2 with science or equivalent from recognized University, should have a diploma in Radio diagnosis from a recognized University of India and
- Experience : should have 1 year experience in Radiological department of any state or central recognized hospital.
For the post of ASI Operation Theatre Technician : Should have passed 10+2 with science or equivalent from recognized University , should have a diploma in Operation Theatre Technician or certificate in operation theatre assistant cum Central sterile supply assistant training course from recognized university and
- Experience: 2years experience as operator technician in any reputed hospital.
For the post of Dental Technician : Should have passed 10+2 with science or equivalent from recognized University , should have 2 years diploma in Dental Hygienist course from any recognized Institute recognized by Dental council of India and
- Experience: 1 year experience as a dental technician in a reputed hospital.
For the post of Steward: Matriculation from any recognized board, should have a diploma or certificate in catering management and
- Experience: 1 year experience in similar job in reputed hotel.
For the post of Ayah: Matriculation from any recognized board, Possessing the First Aid Examination pass certificate from Red Cross Society or should be trained Dai and
- Experience: 1 year experience in relevant field.
For the post of Masalchi: Matriculation from any recognized board and
- Experience : 2years experience in similar field in reputed hotel or restaurant or reputed institute.
For the post of Table boy: Matriculation from any recognized board and
- Experience : 2 years experience in similar job in any reputed Hotel or Defence Service Mess or other Officers Mess.
For the post of Lab Assistant: Matriculation with science from a recognized Board or Institution and Should have certificate in Laboratory Assistant Course from an Institution recognized by Central Government or State Government.
Application fees : Rs. 50/- for General and OBC candidates and there is no fees for Women/ SC/ST/Ex-servicemen.
