IBPS REGIONAL RURAL BANK (RRB) EXAM

 Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has released notification for Written examination for recruitment of Officer scale – I,II,III and also Office assistant (multipurpose) in Regional Rural banks all over India. This examination will be conducted twice in a year. Candidates who are interested to work in these banks can apply for both officer scale as well as assistant fulfilling the eligibility criteria but can apply for only one grade for officer scale i.e., I or II or III.

Eligibility criteria:

Age:

  Candidates should of Age (As on 01-06-2012)
For Officer Scale- III :  Below 40 years
For Officer Scale- II  :  Above 21 years – Below 32 years
For Officer Scale- I   :  Above 18 years – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant : Between 18 years and 28 years

Education Qualifications:

For office assistant: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and  Proficiency in local language.

For Officer Scale-I: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and Proficiency in local language.

For Officer Scale-II(General banking officer):Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 2 years experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.

For officer Scale-II(Specialist officer): For specialist officer posts candidates should have a degree in CA/Finance/PG in Marketing or Agriculture/Horticulture/Dairy science/Animal Husbandry/Forestry/Veterinary Science/Agricultural Engineering/Pisciculture with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Fees:

For officer scale I,II,III : Rs 50 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs 450/- for General and all others.

For office Assistants : Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD and RS.350/- for General and all others.
