GAIL India Limited a navaratna Central Public sector company is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for recruiting of about 117 jobs in various streams of Engineering . The candidates will be selected based on the merit obtained in the GATE 2013 in the respective subjects and hence first students want to apply for the job should enroll for the GATE examination.
Number of posts: Mechanical – 47 , Electrical – 23, Instrumentation – 26, Chemical – 21
Eligibility:
For mechanical post : the candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing /
Mechanical & Automobile stream with minimum 65 % Marks.
For Electrical : The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics with minimum 65 % Marks.
For Instrumentation : The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Instrumentation /Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical &Electronics with minimum 65 % Marks.
For Chemical : The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Chemical /Petrochemical / Chemical Technology / Petrochemical
Technology with minimum 65 % Marks.
Age limit: 28 years as on 1-01-2013 (for relaxations please visit the advertisement link given below)
Selection: The candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit obtained in the respective subjects of GATE exam 2013 and called for the Group discussion/ Interview and their will also be medical fitness test.
Application procedure: Candidates first need to apply online for GATE 2013 examination and next the candidate should visit the official website of GAIL and should apply online with GATE registration number and the candidates can apply only for one job or stream.
